If your _previously paired smartwatch_ is not consistently or reliably connecting with your phone and the mobile app when in Bluetooth range, follow these steps:

A. Clear your mobile Bluetooth listing to make sure the connection between your watch and pairing app is stable. Here’s how:

**For iOS:**

1. Open the Settings app in iOS.
2. Go to “Bluetooth”
3. Locate the Bluetooth accessory you want to remove from the iPhone or iPad and tap on the (i) button next to the name.
4. Tap on “Forget This Device”
5. Tap to confirm to forget the Bluetooth Device and remove it from iOS

**For Android: (may vary by device)**

1. Go to Settings
2. Select “Application Manager”
3. Display system apps (you may need to either swipe left/right or choose from the menu in the top right corner)
4. Select Bluetooth from the now larger list of Applications
5. Select Storage
6. Tap Clear Cache
7. Go back
8. Finally restart the phone

B. Typical Bluetooth range is 33 feet from your smartwatch. _Range can vary depending on environment and other factors._

C. Firmware needs updating - Up-to-date firmware ensures you’re receiving the latest stability improvements and bug fixes.
