Battery protection mode may be enabled if the watch has not been used for an extended period of time. Therefore, it may need to sit on the charger for a while (30+ minutes) before the charging screen appears. Also, if the watch is a recent purchase, there is a possibility that the initial factory charge has been fully drained, so waiting several minutes for the charging indicator to appear is recommended.
Please follow these steps to resolve the charging issue on your iTech Wearables smartwatch:
1. Leave the watch on the charger for 30 minutes to one hour (make sure the charging pins are placed properly on the watch). This will reset the battery allowing it to be charged.
2. After that, remove the watch from the charger and then place it back on for a few hours to fully charge the device. Please note that for optimal charging, we recommend charging the device for up to 24 hours on this first charge.
